The Barber of Seville, G. Rossini at Teatro Avenida.

(Opera in Italian Language with subtitles in Spanish)

Once again friends and members of Club Europeo Let's Opera!

This time to enjoy an “opera buffa” inspired in the Seville of the early eighteenth century. Gioacchino Rossini (1792 - 1868) created in record time this “commedia per la musica”, making it cheerful, humorous and totally naïf.
Easy-going characters as the barber Figaro, Rosina and Count Almaviva create and resolve situations and entanglements.

Mr. Sergio Ionescu will offer an illustrative talk, in avant to the performance, on Friday September 5. at 6 pm at European Club, Av. Corrientes 327 Floor 21.

The performance of the opera on September 5. is extraordinary and it is done for the benefit of refurbishment works in the German Hospital.
